I’m just going to start out by saying BUY IT. Lovevery has become my favorite delivery, and we get a lot of deliveries these days. I don’t know when this company started, but I do not remember it existing when W was born. I had heard of it some, but saw that my favorite Instagram motor skill guru, @milestones.and.motherhood highly recommended it. So I decided to bite the financial bullet and give it a try. We have now received two kits. So here it is…my Lovevery review! (The pictures in this post are from the Senser Play Kit, months 5-6)
What is Lovevery?
Lovevery is a subscription service that describes itself as being “stage-based play essentials: designed by experts, built for babies and toddlers up to age 3.” There are a total of 14 different boxes starting at 0-12 weeks and ending at 3 years. Each box for the first year is for 2 months of the babies development (excluding the first box, which is 0-12 weeks). For example, there is a box for 3-4 months, 5-6 months, etc. Each box for years 2 and 3 are for 3 months (ex. months 13, 14, 15). You can find details about each box here.
Ordering Lovevery
As I mentioned, I love Milestones & Motherhood on Instagram. As you may know about me, I’m a bit of a worrier when it comes to my boys. KC (the mother at milestones and motherhood) is a physical therapist, and seems to know her way around motor skills and babies. She has voiced how much she loves their lovevery toys, so I decided to give it a try for a month. Simply head over to the Lovevery website and click on the subscription that best fits the age of your baby (up to age 3).
Lovevery Subscription Cost
If you are going to have an issue with Lovevery, I am going to guess that this will be it. It isn’t cheap, but when you think about the quality and quantity of toys you are receiving, the cost certainly makes sense. Each box for the first year is $80, which comes out to $40 a month. Each box in years 2 and 3 are $120, which also comes out to $40 a month since every box is for 3 months. The pictures in this post are from the Senser kit, for months 5-6. As you can see in the picture above, it is a lot of quality toys that are developmentally appropriate for your baby. This particular box had 7 different toys. So, there is a high cost associated with the subscription, but the quality of toys certainly matches the cost.
Lovevery Senser Kit Review
This particular kit is for babies, age 5-6 months. Pictured from left to right are the play guide and stickers, the magic tissue box (2 pictures), tummy time wobbler, Montessori ball, ‘Parts of Me’ book, play socks, and the spinning rainbow. J loves them all. These toys are perfect for this stage of his development.
The socks have been helpful in making him more interested in his feet, which builds those important muscles for rolling over and sitting up. The spinning rainbow, tummy time wobbler, and Montessori ball have helped him enjoy being on his tummy more. He finally rolled back to front today to try to get to the spinning rainbow and the soft book from the last box (charmer play kit). The magic tissue box is perfect for him to play with when practicing sitting! Also, the play guide does a great job explaining how to use the different items.
